Lost SeOUL
Seogye-Dong is a small stretch of run down buildings surrounded by skyscrapers and brand new buildings in Seoul.
Walking here at night is like travelling trough some sort of distopic tale from a cyberpunk universe.
You can feel the weight of the new city pushing on these old slums filled with small laundry workshops open all night. Will this place last in time? Is this place lost in time?
The smell of freshly washed and dryed clothes mixes with the stench of ammonia from the alleys, while steam crawls out of manholes and venting pipes. Few people, seemingly lost souls, wander these streets at night where the few leading lights come from neon crosses on top of nameless churches.
Is this a journey of a lost SeOUL?
